Deer Lake Food Bank
Atlantic Edge Credit Union is proud to partner with the Deer Lake Food Bank. Atlantic Edge Credit Union supports the Deer Lake Food Bank by making general donations, and helping them during their food drives. Also, Atlantic Edge Credit Union also supports the Food Bank by collecting non-perishable food items in the branch.
Kids Eat Smart Foundation
Atlantic Edge Credit Union made another $5,000 donation to the Kids Eat Smart (KES) Foundation in October. The donation translates into 5,000 breakfasts for school children throughout the province. This brings the contribution of Atlantic Edge Credit Union to the Foundation to an impressive total of $31,000.
In addition, AECU was invited to participate in the KES Radio-thon on November 6 to acknowledge the contribution. The Radio-thon was broadcast province-wide on the VOCM/Big Land FM radio network and was the most successful Radio-thon KES has ever hosted.
